Oscars 2008 - premiere

Castigatorii celei de a 80-a editii ii gasiti aici.

Favoritii criticilor, ai publicului si ai mei i-ati gasit aici.

Ma bucur cel mai mult pentru Marion Cotillard - Performance by an actress in a leading role - in “La Vie en Rose”.

Este prima editie dupa multi ani in care nu am avut un favorit la anumite categorii de premii...

Sunt trist pentru 4, 3, 2 (cand oare se va schimba actuala procedura nefiabila de selectie a nominalizatilor??!!!) la fel cum consider ca Ratatouille ar fi meritat in plus pe langa premiul la cel mai bun film de animatie si pe cel la cel mai bun scenariu (doar pentru discursul la final al lui Anton Ego despre conditia criticului era suficient)...

Per total, principalul castigator al acestei editii a fost No Country for Old Men, (4 premii/ 8 nominalizari) al carui premiera va fi in Romania chiar in acest weekend, pe 25.02.2008... Iata o excelenta sincronizare din partea distribuitorului din Romania... cred ca daca s-ar fi lansat mai inainte ar fi fost un succes limitat in Romania... asa este posibil sa stranga peste 50.000 de spectatori... chiar daca ajunge dupa mai bine de 4 luni la noi de la lansarea acestuia in State si dupa mai bine de 9 luni dupa prezentarea oficiala la Cannes, unde culmea, al nostru 4, 3, 2 a fost mai bun :p vom vedea cum a fost primit de publicul romanesc...

Bourne Ultimatum a obtinut 3 premii/ 3 nominalizari... la categorii tehnice, Atonement un singur premiu din 7 nominalizari si acela la Achievement in music written for motion pictures (Original score) - Dario Marianelli :) There Will Be Blood - doar 2 premii/ 8 nominalizari, dar pe buna dreptate la amandoua.
Tilda Swinton a fost o surpriza la categoria cea mai buna actrita in rol secundar... nefiind cu nimic mai presus decat Cate Blanchett in “I’m Not There”, dar asta e...
“The Golden Compass” a luat premiul pentru Achievement in visual effects, cred ca mai mult datorita scenei de lupta dintre cei doi ursi polari... intristandu-i pe fanii Transformers, care pana la urma a plecat cu mana goala desi a avut 3 nominalizari ;))
“Falling Slowly” din “Once” a luat pe merit Achievement in music written for motion pictures (Original song), The Counterfeiters a fost desemnat cel mai bun film strain, in rest nefiind prea multe surprize: Daniel Day-Lewis, Javier Bardem, Ratatouille...

Per total, o editie reusita... asteptam filme si mai bune la anu' :D

Oscar 2008 - pe cine preferati vs. cine o sa iasa...

Luni, 25.02.2008, incepand cu ora 03:30, ora Romaniei, puteti urmari pe HBO in direct decernarea premiilor Oscar.

Pentur ca cea de-a 80-a editie se apropie cu pasi repezi, ma grabesc si eu sa-mi aleg favoritii...

I loved it! Rataouille MERITA DIN PLIN sa iasa castigator. Persepolis NU a fost rau deloc, din contra... Insa Surf's Up NU merita nici macar nominalizarea... Ar fi trebuit sa fie Simpsons - The Movie sau Meet the Robinsons.

Sunt foarte dezamagit ca 4 luni, 3 saptamani si 2 zile nu a fost nici macar nominalizat... Alt defavorizat: Persepolis. Asta dupa ce francezii au facut greseala si nu au trimis pentru selectia la aceasta categorie un alt film care cu siguranta ar fi castigat: Le Scaphandre et le papillon; or, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly... Chiar si asa consider ca Mongol este un filme deosebit, insa... tot alt film o sa iasa... Votez cu 12... Pentru cine NU stie culisele procesului de selectie a nominalizatilor la Oscar, atunci TREBUIE sa cititi aici. Asa o sa va dati seama de ce nu au fost nominalizate de-a lungul timpului anumite filme la premiul pentru cel mai bun film de ex. . Consider ca acest proces greoi, demodat si nefiabil trebuie schimbat de la radacini, altfel vor mai fi si alte surprize neplacute pe viitor...
